Leonard Koh
Toa Payoh & Paya Lebar Clinic
Leonard Koh, Chiropractor in Toa Payoh, Clementi & Paya Lebar, Singapore
You are the best person to care for your own life — and the best choice you can make is to care for your health. My role is to guide and support you on that journey, with chiropractic care that goes beyond pain to improve how you live.
👶🏼 Paediatric
I came to chiropractic the way many of my patients do — as someone in pain, looking for an answer.
During my university years, low back issues started to take over my life. I tried everything: physiotherapy, medication, TCM. Nothing really worked. Then I tried chiropractic, and the change was so profound that no other treatment had come close.
That experience didn’t just relieve my pain. It set me on a completely new path.
My story
My journey to chiropractic took an unusual route — through science and technology, not healthcare.
Before becoming a chiropractor, I worked as an Industry Development Manager at Singapore’s largest R&D organisation, driving technologies like artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and computational modelling for companies across healthcare, FMCG, chemicals, and more. It was my exposure to the healthcare industry, combined with my own life-changing experience as a chiropractic patient, that finally cemented my decision to change direction entirely.
So I did. I went on to earn my Chiropractic degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Sherman College of Chiropractic.
I was born and raised in Singapore, and helping my local community is exactly why I do this work. Lion City Chiro has been a wonderful place to practise, with the kind of support from colleagues that makes serving the community a genuine pleasure.
What I find most rewarding is watching someone truly recover. I once cared for a patient struggling with insomnia. Through chiropractic care, she began sleeping well again — which lifted her energy, improved her mood, and gave her back the ability to spend quality time with her family. Moments like that remind me why chiropractic is about so much more than removing pain. It’s about improving how people live.
And if there’s one thing my Singaporean background brings to the clinic, it’s a deep love of food. Don’t be surprised if a session ends with us swapping notes on where to find the best hawker stalls in town.
Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find me at the gym, or spending time with my family and my daughter.
A little more about me
What makes me laugh in the clinic — Honest feedback from children — they always tell it exactly like it is.
How I stay grounded — I make sure my own posture and form are spot-on during every adjustment set-up. Practising what I preach keeps me honest.
One habit I’d give every patient — Do your prescribed exercises. They’re a small commitment that makes a big difference to your results.
HOW I HELP YOU
What I help with most:
- Back Pain — the issue that first brought me to chiropractic myself
- Neck & Shoulder Pain — easing the daily tension of modern life
- Headaches & Migraines — often connected to the upper spine
- Sciatica — addressing the source of radiating leg pain
I also have a special focus on pregnancy care — certified in the Webster Technique through the ICPA — supporting expectant mothers through every stage.
Patients I most love working with
These are the people I most love caring for. If you see yourself here, I’d be glad to help.
Desk-bound professionals — the long hours, the screens, the posture and tension that build up over time.
Expectant mothers — with Webster Technique certification, I love supporting women through pregnancy with safe, gentle, specialised care.
Families — caring for the people you love most, across generations, and building healthy habits that last.
Complex, chronic cases — when you’ve been struggling for a long time and want someone to help you understand the full picture, not just the symptom
